Position Details:
Title: Anesthesiologist
Type: Locum Tenens
Shifts: Monday–Friday; options for 5x8s or 4x10s. Hours approx. 7a–3p or 7a–5p. Weekends and call optional.
Location: Near Gainesville, FL
Facility Type: Inpatient (hospital & surgery center cross-credentialing)
Certification: BLS, Board Certified, active Florida license (Board Eligible not accepted)
Experience: 2+ years recent experience required
What to Expect:
• Call/Zoom interview with Site Medical Director required prior to acceptance
• Credentialing timeframe: ~90 days; cross-credentialed at North Florida Surgical Pavilion
• Care Team Model: 25 CRNAs and 19 MDs
• Case mix: General, Ortho, GI-Endo, Eyes, Healthy Peds, Urology, Robotics, OB/GYN, Bariatrics, Vascular, Cardiac Ablations, IR, Neuro-IR, Neuro, Bronchoscopy (no trauma; cardiac handled by cardiac MD team)
• Average monthly cases: 1,800; Average OB deliveries: 325
• EMR: Meditech
• Full-time availability required
