The Department of Anesthesiology has an opening for a full-time Pediatric Anesthesiologist at the faculty rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. The Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology is made up of a multidisciplinary team of highly trained pediatric anesthesia experts who are dedicated to taking care of patients, taking care of each other, and shaping the field of Pediatric Anesthesiology. Minimum Qualifications:
• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Colorado by effective hire date
• ABA Certified or Board Eligible, or possess certification of foreign training that is recognized as equivalent to its diploma by the ABA
• Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship-trained
Preferred Qualifications:
• Board certification in pediatric anesthesiology is highly desirable and expected within two years of employment.
Clinical
The primary clinical site for this position is Children’s Hospital Colorado. This 600-bed tertiary care hospital has a level IV NICU, level 1 trauma center and is consistently ranked among the top 10 Children’s hospitals.
Academic / Research
Baseline Academic time for a 1.0 FTE is targeted at 36 days per year. Both traditional and clinical promotion pathways are available. Further, the Department has a robust set of research resources and mentorship opportunities for faculty to take advantage of.
Compensation
• Benchmarked above the 50th percentile for academic pediatric anesthesia practices, base salary ranges from $373000-$423,000 based on academic rank and experience.
