CASE Medical Group’s pediatric anesthesia subgroup at Sutter Health is seeking fellowship-trained pediatric anesthesiologists to join its dedicated physician practice.

This is a physician-only, solo-practice anesthesia model in which anesthesiologists personally provide care for their patients without CRNA supervision. Physicians enjoy a diverse pediatric case mix, competitive productivity-based compensation, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to become a shareholder after two years with no buy-in. Qualified physicians may also receive a sign-on bonus of up to 20,000.

CASE’s dedicated pediatric anesthesia subgroup is part of a larger physician-owned practice of approximately 110 anesthesiologists. The pediatric team collectively provides approximately 5,500 pediatric anesthetics each year at Sutter Children’s Center, offering the close collaboration of a specialized subgroup with the support, stability, and resources of a well-established regional practice.

Physicians care for infants, children, and adolescents across a diverse and clinically rewarding case mix that includes pediatric general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, ophthalmology, cardiovascular anesthesia, acute pain management, and additional complex pediatric specialty procedures.

This high-acuity tertiary-care environment provides opportunities to care for both routine and medically complex pediatric patients while collaborating closely with pediatric surgeons, intensivists, cardiologists, nurses, and other specialized clinical teams.

Qualified candidates should be:

Board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology
Fellowship-trained or completing fellowship training in pediatric anesthesiology
Eligible for California medical licensure
Current in ACLS and PALS
