When we look at a CRNA offer, student loan help is one of those benefits we want to slow down and read carefully. For October, we went back through BagMask’s active full-time W‑2 inventory and selected seven opportunities that have not appeared in our earlier monthly CRNA loan articles.
All seven state a loan-related amount, but the payment structures are different. Seneca Falls, Pittsfield, and Houston advertise options reaching $100,000, while Ashland describes up to $50,000 over five years and Salem offers up to $30,000.
Bangor states $10,000 per year, and Woodbridge lists a $10,000 program without a payment cadence. We kept yearly benefits, total awards, and choices between a bonus and loan repayment clearly separated so the numbers do not suggest more than the listings actually promise.

This is a curated list, not a ranking by salary or benefit size. “PSLF eligible” reports the listing’s statement, not a guarantee that an individual borrower will qualify. An unspecified employer-benefit amount is not a stated dollar award.
Our read on the list
What stood out to us this month
What caught our attention first was the variety: these seven openings come from seven different recruiting organizations or employers. That is not an endorsement of any employer or a survey of the whole CRNA market—it is the set of unused opportunities we selected from the active inventory.
What interested us most was how differently employers package similar-looking amounts. Berkshire lets candidates choose between a split bonus-and-reimbursement package or full loan reimbursement, while the Houston offer makes its $100,000 repayment option an alternative to a signing bonus.
We were also drawn to the annual payment details in Ashland and Bangor. A benefit paid over several years can be useful, but it is not the same as receiving the full amount immediately, so payment timing and early-departure terms belong in the comparison.
CompHealth — Seneca Falls, New York
Loan help statedUp to $100,000 student loan assistance
The Seneca Falls listing advertises up to $100,000 in student loan assistance, with a sign-on bonus listed separately. That makes it one of the clearest loan-benefit amounts in this review, although “up to” still leaves the final award and eligibility to be confirmed.
The role is primarily based in an outpatient surgery center for GI and cataract cases, with occasional hospital OR coverage. The listing describes weekday work without call or weekends, 36 days of total PTO, and consideration of new graduates.
We would ask what determines the loan-assistance amount, how it is paid, and whether any portion must be repaid if we leave before completing the agreement.
Berkshire Health Systems — Pittsfield, MA
Loan help statedUp to $100,000 student loan reimbursement
Berkshire offers two loan-related choices: a $50,000 sign-on bonus with $50,000 in student loan reimbursement, or up to $100,000 in reimbursement. We would not describe that as a full $100,000 loan award plus the full bonus.
The Pittsfield practice uses an anesthesia care team, with flexible scheduling and no required call. Its case mix includes general surgery, vascular, orthopedics, thoracic, OB/GYN, endoscopy, and neurosurgery.
We would ask how reimbursement is paid, which loans qualify, and what service commitment comes with each option. The salary-and-benefits section also mentions PSLF, which needs a separate employer-eligibility check.

US Anesthesia Partners — Houston, TX
Loan help stated$100,000 student loan repayment option
This Houston opening advertises a $100,000 student loan repayment option as an alternative to a $75,000 sign-on bonus. The two figures are choices—not a combined $175,000 benefit.
Memorial Hermann Memorial City is described as a Level III trauma center with a broad case mix, including general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, GI, and pediatric procedures. The posting lists six weeks of PTO and a collaborative anesthesia care team.
We would ask for the repayment agreement and compare its payment timing with the cash-bonus option. The separate student training stipend should not be counted as repayment of existing debt.
UK King's Daughters — Ashland, KY
Loan help statedUp to $50,000; $10,000 per year for up to five years
UK King’s Daughters advertises up to $50,000 in student loan repayment. Its salary-and-benefits section describes $10,000 per year for up to five years, with a separate signing bonus.
The Ashland hospital is a 455-bed regional referral center, and the anesthesia practice uses a medically supervised care team. Cases include orthopedics, general surgery, OB, outpatient surgery, urology, and endoscopy.
We would confirm when the yearly payments begin and what happens if we leave before completing five years. We would also ask which facility the offer covers, since the listing title references both Ashland and Portsmouth.
Salem Health — Salem, OR
Loan help statedUp to $30,000 educational loan repayment; PSLF also advertised
Salem Health’s description advertises up to $30,000 in educational loan repayment assistance. It also states PSLF eligibility, which is a different pathway from the employer-funded benefit.
The full-time role offers a four-day workweek with no call and eight weeks of PTO. Salem Hospital’s Level II trauma setting includes a broad, high-acuity case mix.
We would ask whether the loan assistance can be used alongside any qualifying PSLF employment and review each set of conditions separately. The posting requires acute-care surgical experience, so this is not presented as a new-graduate opening.
Covenant Health / St. Joseph Healthcare — Bangor, ME
Loan help stated$10,000 per year; no maximum allowance stated
The Bangor listing’s student-loan benefits field states $10,000 per year with no maximum allowance. That is an annual advertised benefit—not a guaranteed lifetime repayment total.
The full-time role supports operating and endoscopy rooms, with no call, nights, weekends, or holidays. The description says the practice has no obstetric, cardiothoracic, or trauma patients.
We are reviewing the full-time W‑2 offer, not the separate part-time, per-diem, or 1099 options. We would ask which employment conditions apply to yearly loan payments and what the employer means by no maximum allowance.

Sentara Medical Group — Woodbridge, VA
Loan help stated$10,000 student loan forgiveness program
Sentara’s Woodbridge opening lists a $10,000 student loan forgiveness program. The posting does not specify how often that amount is paid, so we would not label it an annual award.
The role offers eight-, ten-, twelve-, and sixteen-hour shifts, with first call off site. The described team includes six physicians and more than fifteen CRNAs.
We would ask whether the benefit is paid to our servicer or reimbursed to us and what commitment is required. The annual quality bonus and CME allowance are separate benefits, not part of the loan amount.

Before you count the benefit
Questions we would ask about student loan assistance
- How much student loan assistance would I receive each year and in total?
- Would payments go to my loan servicer, be reimbursed to me, or be paid another way?
- Which of my existing federal or private loans would qualify?
- When would payments start, and would there be a waiting period or vesting schedule?
- Is the loan benefit separate from my salary, sign-on bonus, relocation, and other incentives?
- What service commitment would I make, and what would I owe if I leave early?
- Which legal entity would employ me, and what employer EIN should I check for PSLF?
- Can I review the full loan-assistance agreement before accepting?
We would compare the written agreement, not just the headline. A benefit’s amount, timing, and departure terms can change how useful it is for our own loans.
How we chose these jobs
We reviewed BagMask’s active inventory on October 6 and selected seven full-time W‑2 CRNA opportunities that had not appeared in our earlier monthly loan articles for this profession. We checked their public links, descriptions, and salary-and-benefits fields for help with existing student debt or advertised PSLF eligibility. Tuition reimbursement, training stipends, and signing bonuses alone did not qualify a listing. This is a selection of current opportunities, not a market-wide survey.
Frequently asked questions
Do CRNA jobs offer student loan repayment?
Yes. Some listings advertise employer reimbursement, assistance, or contributions toward eligible student loans. Others describe PSLF-eligible employment. This October review includes both, with the advertised benefit identified for each job; availability and eligibility still need confirmation in the offer.
Is employer loan repayment the same as PSLF?
No. Employer repayment follows the employer’s benefit agreement. PSLF is a federal program with qualifying-loan, employment, repayment-plan, and payment requirements. A job listing’s PSLF statement is not a promise that a borrower will qualify. Check the current Federal Student Aid PSLF requirements.
How much student loan help do these CRNA jobs advertise?
Every selected CRNA listing states an amount: up to $100,000 in Seneca Falls and Pittsfield, a $100,000 repayment option in Houston, up to $50,000 over five years in Ashland, up to $30,000 in Salem, $10,000 per year in Bangor, and a $10,000 program in Woodbridge with no cadence stated. These are not all directly comparable totals, and some are alternatives to a signing bonus.
Does a signing bonus count as student loan repayment?
Not automatically. A signing bonus and a loan-specific benefit should be treated separately unless the employer explicitly explains that the payment is tied to eligible student debt. We have not added bonuses or training stipends to the advertised loan amounts.
Can new-graduate CRNAs qualify for student loan assistance?
Several selected listings welcome new graduates, but that alone does not establish eligibility for a particular benefit. Ask whether the loan program covers the offer, whether the debt must already be in repayment, and whether waiting periods or service commitments apply.
How do I check whether a job qualifies for PSLF?
Ask for the legal employing entity and its EIN, then use the Federal Student Aid PSLF Employer Search. Check your own loan and payment requirements too. The practice location, recruiter name, or job title does not by itself establish eligibility.
Are federal nursing loan-repayment programs separate from these job benefits?
Yes. Programs such as HRSA Nurse Corps Loan Repayment have their own eligibility, application, facility, and service rules. We have not assumed any listed job or applicant qualifies for an award. Check the current program guidance separately.
Continue your CRNA job research
A loan benefit can be a meaningful part of a CRNA offer, but we would look at it alongside the actual practice, call requirements, start date, and time off. The best fit is the offer whose full terms make sense for you—not simply the one with the largest number in the headline.
Job terms and availability can change. BagMask reports employer-provided information and does not guarantee loan eligibility, forgiveness, compensation, employment terms, or continued availability. Confirm the written benefit with the employer and federal-program requirements with the responsible agency.
