When a CAA job advertises student loan help, we want to know what is behind that line in the benefits package. For October, we selected seven active full-time W‑2 opportunities that have not appeared in our earlier monthly CAA loan articles.
This month’s list includes a $100,000 repayment option in Houston, a $75,000 option around San Antonio, and $150 per month in Gainesville. ECAA in Raleigh, APC in Grand Rapids, and US Anesthesia Partners in Denver advertise loan help without a stated amount, while the University of Colorado’s pediatric role lists PSLF.
Those benefits should not be added together with signing bonuses, stipends, or tuition reimbursement. We have kept the either/or incentive choices and the difference between employer repayment and federal forgiveness visible throughout the article.

This is a curated list, not a ranking by salary or benefit size. “PSLF eligible” reports the listing’s statement, not a guarantee that an individual borrower will qualify. An unspecified employer-benefit amount is not a stated dollar award.
Our read on the list
What stood out to us this month
The first thing that caught our attention was the change in employer mix: three US Anesthesia Partners listings, plus UF Health Shands, ECAA, APC, and the University of Colorado. These are unused opportunities in our monthly CAA loan series, not an endorsement of any employer or a picture of the whole market.
What stood out next was how much the payment structure matters. Houston and San Antonio offer loan repayment instead of a particular signing bonus, while Gainesville lists a monthly contribution—a smaller headline number with a different payment rhythm.
We would also pay attention to which employment option is actually being offered. APC advertises full-time and part-time roles, and the Denver listing offers 0.75 to 1.0 FTE; this review includes only the full-time openings.
US Anesthesia Partners — Houston, TX
Loan help stated$100,000 student loan repayment option
US Anesthesia Partners advertises a choice between a $75,000 sign-on bonus and $100,000 in student loan repayment. We have kept that either/or choice clear rather than adding the two amounts together.
The full-time CAA posting lists opportunities at several Houston-area hospitals and welcomes new graduates. Its benefits include six weeks of PTO, a CME allowance, and a matching retirement plan with profit sharing.
We would confirm the available facility and request the loan-payment schedule before comparing this option with the sign-on bonus. The separate student stipend supports training and is not the existing-debt benefit used here.
US Anesthesia Partners — San Antonio / New Braunfels, TX
Loan help stated$75,000 student loan repayment option
This CAA listing offers a $75,000 student loan repayment option instead of a $50,000 sign-on bonus. It is a loan-specific alternative, not an extra payment on top of the full bonus.
The posting names Baptist Medical Center and Resolute New Braunfels among its sites. It describes eight-, ten-, and twelve-hour schedules without nights, weekends, holidays, or call, plus six to eight weeks of PTO.
We would ask which site and schedule the offer covers and how the repayment option is delivered. Payment timing, eligible debt, and early-departure terms could make the two incentive options very different for us.

UFH Shands Hospital — Gainesville, FL
Loan help stated$150 per month in student loan support
UF Health Shands lists $150 per month in its student-loan benefits details. Its description separately names student loan financial support, so this is not being inferred from the signing bonus or tuition reimbursement.
The Gainesville role is full-time at a Level I trauma center and teaching hospital. The posting describes no nights, weekends, holidays, or call, alongside a broad range of anesthesia specialties.
We would ask when the monthly contributions begin, which loans qualify, and whether there is a waiting period or service commitment. Any signing bonus and tuition benefit should be evaluated separately.
ECAA-Anesthesia Specialists — Raleigh, North Carolina
Loan help statedStudent loan reimbursement; amount and conditions not stated
ECAA’s salary-and-benefits section marks student loan reimbursement as available. The listing does not provide a repayment amount or explain the payment terms, so we are reporting the benefit without attaching a dollar figure.
The group is recruiting full-time CAAs for WakeMed, with campus options described for experienced applicants. The case mix varies between Raleigh, Cary, and North; the posting also advertises six to nine weeks of PTO.
We would ask which campus the offer covers and request the reimbursement agreement. The advertised signing bonuses are separate benefits—not evidence of how much existing student debt will be reimbursed.

Anesthesia Practice Consultants — Grand Rapids, Michigan
Loan help statedStudent loan repayment assistance; amount not stated
Anesthesia Practice Consultants explicitly includes student loan repayment assistance in its benefits list, but does not state the amount. We are using the full-time opening in this posting; its title also advertises part-time roles.
The physician-owned practice provides anesthesia across hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers in the Grand Rapids area. The listing describes no in-house overnight call, seven weeks of PTO, and a retirement plan with a 15% employer contribution.
We would ask whether the loan benefit applies to this full-time offer, how payments are structured, and which facilities we would cover. Starting and retention bonuses should be compared separately.

US Anesthesia Partners — Denver, CO
Loan help statedStudent loan repayment; amount not stated
The Denver posting explicitly advertises student loan repayment but does not publish an amount. Its general incentive headline is not a stated loan award.
The listing offers positions from 0.75 to 1.0 FTE; we are including only the full-time 1.0-FTE option. The practice covers hospital systems across the Denver area, with a variety of cases and specialties.
We would ask whether the repayment benefit applies to the specific full-time offer and request its terms in writing. We would also confirm the assigned facility and schedule rather than assuming every listed option has identical benefits.
University of Colorado Anschutz — Aurora, Colorado
Loan help statedAdvertised PSLF eligibility
The University of Colorado’s full-time pediatric CAA/CRNA faculty opening lists PSLF among its benefits. The primary clinical site is Children’s Hospital Colorado on the Anschutz Medical Campus.
The role combines supervised pediatric anesthesia care with teaching responsibilities. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and the benefits description also includes retirement contributions, paid leave, and tuition assistance.
We included the role because of its PSLF statement—not because of tuition assistance, which is a different benefit. We would verify the employing entity and ask how clinical and teaching duties are divided.

Before you count the benefit
Questions we would ask about student loan assistance
- How much student loan assistance would I receive each year and in total?
- Would payments go to my loan servicer, be reimbursed to me, or be paid another way?
- Which of my existing federal or private loans would qualify?
- When would payments start, and would there be a waiting period or vesting schedule?
- Is the loan benefit separate from my salary, sign-on bonus, relocation, and other incentives?
- What service commitment would I make, and what would I owe if I leave early?
- Which legal entity would employ me, and what employer EIN should I check for PSLF?
- Can I review the full loan-assistance agreement before accepting?
We would compare the written agreement, not just the headline. A benefit’s amount, timing, and departure terms can change how useful it is for our own loans.
How we chose these jobs
We reviewed BagMask’s active inventory on October 6 and selected seven full-time W‑2 CAA opportunities that had not appeared in our earlier monthly loan articles for this profession. We checked their public links, descriptions, and salary-and-benefits fields for help with existing student debt or advertised PSLF eligibility. Tuition reimbursement, training stipends, and signing bonuses alone did not qualify a listing. This is a selection of current opportunities, not a market-wide survey.
Frequently asked questions
Do CAA jobs offer student loan repayment?
Yes. Some listings advertise employer reimbursement, assistance, or contributions toward eligible student loans. Others describe PSLF-eligible employment. This October review includes both, with the advertised benefit identified for each job; availability and eligibility still need confirmation in the offer.
Is employer loan repayment the same as PSLF?
No. Employer repayment follows the employer’s benefit agreement. PSLF is a federal program with qualifying-loan, employment, repayment-plan, and payment requirements. A job listing’s PSLF statement is not a promise that a borrower will qualify. Check the current Federal Student Aid PSLF requirements.
How much student loan help do these CAA jobs advertise?
The selected CAA listings advertise a $100,000 repayment option in Houston, a $75,000 option around San Antonio, and $150 per month in Gainesville. The Houston and San Antonio amounts are alternatives to specified signing bonuses. Raleigh, Grand Rapids, and Denver do not state a repayment amount, and Aurora lists PSLF rather than a cash loan award.
Does a signing bonus count as student loan repayment?
Not automatically. A signing bonus and a loan-specific benefit should be treated separately unless the employer explicitly explains that the payment is tied to eligible student debt. We have not added bonuses or training stipends to the advertised loan amounts.
Can new-graduate CAAs qualify for student loan assistance?
Several selected listings welcome new graduates, but that alone does not establish eligibility for a particular benefit. Ask whether the loan program covers the offer, whether the debt must already be in repayment, and whether waiting periods or service commitments apply.
How do I check whether a job qualifies for PSLF?
Ask for the legal employing entity and its EIN, then use the Federal Student Aid PSLF Employer Search. Check your own loan and payment requirements too. The practice location, recruiter name, or job title does not by itself establish eligibility.

The interesting part of this list is how many different practice settings can come with student loan help. We would use it to start the conversation, then compare the written benefit, the employing entity, and the day-to-day role before deciding which offer fits.
Job terms and availability can change. BagMask reports employer-provided information and does not guarantee loan eligibility, forgiveness, compensation, employment terms, or continued availability. Confirm the written benefit with the employer and federal-program requirements with the responsible agency.
